Not doing too badly for 5 days into the New Year!
Lily was really lucky to get to meet her favourite author, Andy Griffiths, last year @ Berowra Library. He had all the kids in stitches (& the adults too) reading from his latest book "The Very Bad Book" & just generally chatting to the kids about writing. She also got her own copy of the book autographed.
So anyway, whilst blog hopping (specifically from one of my faves scrappers Kim Jeffress' blog) I came across the "Show Us Your Stuff" challenge blog & saw the latest sketch challenge, which I thought was perfect to scrap a couple of Andy Griffiths photos. The clouds are my handmade element, they are Papertrey die cuts.
Here's my L/O, with a sheer base it was definitely a little tricky to get a good photo. Might also be a little hard to tell but the big cloud is glittery, I cut it from "jak" paper & sprinkled some SU! Dazzling Diamonds on top. The smaller cloud is cut out of felt.
Also if you're after some big savings, fun challenges & even a chance at a Creative Team position, go check out Red Earth Scrapping ....there's definitely heaps going on over there to kick start a very, happy, scrappy 2011!
