Wake up Jeff, everybody's wiggling.......

Yes I took Mackenzie to see The Wiggles!

We caught the train from Woy Woy to Hornsby & saw the 12.30pm show at the RSL club on Tuesday.

Amongst quite a large crowd we were able to secure ourselves prime viewing positions right at the front of the dance floor which made for uninterupted views of The Wiggles, Dorothy, Wags, Captain Feathersword, Henry & all the Wiggly dancers.

Mackenzie danced & sang along for most of the show & had a fantastic time. She got lots of waves & smiles throughout the entire show from all The Wiggles. Jeff is Mackenzie's favourite Wiggle & she was so excited that he waved to her numerous times throughout the performance.

Mackenzie very patiently waiting for the show to start, holding on to the roses she bought for Dorothy.

Wags, Captain Feathersword, Dorothy & Henry.

Roses for Dorothy.

& last but not least The Wiggles!

It was great......I just love The Wiggles, at one point they even dropped in a gag about The Cockroaches back catalogue........the memories, many of my friends & I back at school were huge Cockroaches fans so naturally I've always been a big Wiggles fan.

Happy 3rd Birthday little monkey

Our gorgeous little Mackenzie celebrated her 3rd Birthday today........where has the time gone?

It's hard to believe 3 years have gone by so quickly, she's definitely not a baby any longer but a beautiful little girl.

Mackenzie was so excited that it was her birthday but she was very overwhelmed by all the attention.

Daddy assembling the new pink scooter.......most favourite present of all!

Enjoying a cupcake in School House @ the Beachside Centre.

Meet Buster, our new puppy

He's an 8 week old red/ white border collie & just so cute. We bought him from a breeder at Ebenezer on Saturday.

It took all day to head out & pick him up & we even did the tourist thing & drove via Wiseman's Ferry on the way back home. Mackenzie fell asleep & missed the ferry crossing but Lily was amazed by the whole concept of driving onto a ferry, crossing the river & driving off the other side. It was a nice change from countless trips up & down the F3 since we've lived up here on the Central Coast.

Lily & Mackenzie can't get enough of him & he's just so playful & inquisitive that wherever they are he's not too far behind.

Today, Mother's Day, Buster had his first ever visit to Umina Beach down @ Kiddies Corner. It was so cute just watching him run in the sand, digging & carrying around little sticks. I'm sure he's going to love going to the beach as he gets older.

The girls & I this morning after they gave me the presents that Lily bought from the stall @ school.

Hope all the lovely Mummys out there reading this had a fabulous day.

Thanks for stopping by, I'm off to play with Buster for a little while before bed.

Beach boxes @ Brighton Beach..........

something I have always wanted to see.

Well we did it, a 6km walk each way from St Kilda where we were staying for a week in the school holidays! Such a beautiful place in the world & I'm so glad to finally have seen it for myself & of course taken lots of photos. The girls even had a swim in the water as the weather in Melbourne was glorious especially compared to 2 weeks of pretty solid rain in Sydney.

For the first few days we visited with some friends of our's who have relocated to Melbourne from the Blue Mountains & that was so much fun & awesome to catch up with them again in person & of course for all the kids to get reacquainted.

We then headed back in towards the City to St Kilda Beach for a week's stay in a gorgeous little apartment just a short stroll from the water, Luna Park & all the cafes. One could really get used to that lifestyle although I know we'd would really miss having the space of a backyard.

We spent the week playing tourists around the CBD taking many of the sights & attractions including the museum, the zoo, Queen Victoria Markets & the Shrine of Remembrance. We looked on as the ANZAC march finished up in the gardens near the Shrine & also attended the afternoon memorial service. Very special & moving indeed.

Lily & Mackenzie had a ball hopping on & off the trams as we explored the City. We also walked along the banks of the Yarra & took the free tram around the City Circle.

Most evenings, just as the sun went down, we ventured to the end of St Kilda pier to catch a glimpse of the little Penguins as they returned to the breakway to nest. We managed to get a few decent photos (very hard with no flash) but it definitely was lots of fun watching & listening to them as they shuffled around the rocks before settling in for the night.
